SF Unite

Hey whats up people. This is James Grayson here (Just call me Gray) and if you're here because you think that this blog is going to be about Competitive Fighting Games or (CFG) you're damn right. This post will be the first of many and my specialty is Fighting Games.

Now before I begin, let me tell you a few things about myself. Obviously, I'm a huge gamer. (BTW Grammer isn't my strong suit, so igore the spell errors) I'm into competitive games such as Super Street Fighter 4 AE, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Blazblue CSE, SF X Tekken, Fight Night Champion and lastly Halo 4 and Call of Duty (I know the last two aren't fighting games but whatever). I decided to make this blog because I love to compete against other players and learn from them. Also I felt like there was almost no place on the Internet where gamers could rant or talk trash about each other on the Internet...besides facebook.

Honestly, I'm really interested in getting to know other gamers. Not only that I want to have a chance to fight them 1 on 1, if they're interested.  So there you have it.  A blog for gamers, especially those who are competitive and think they're the best in the world. Challenge each other, communicate, start tourneys, even give some advice on your own styles. StreetFighters Unite is meant to be all of that.

If you're still interested and want to be a part of my blog, comment as much as you want. Leave suggestions down on what topic you want to hear about. If you want a match Add me on Xbox ign: SentinelJin.

Alright now let me start off my new blog by talking about one of my favorite Fighting Games today and that would be Super Street Fighter 4. Now this is a game that brings the competitive edge outta me.  When I first bought this game I honestly wasn’t that into it. I thought it would be crappy because I was a fan of the original 2D graphics of Street Fighter Alpha and Third Strike.  But a week into this game completely changed my opinion.

I didn't expect the graphics to be this good

This game kicks ass.  It adds new elements to the game such as Focus Attacks, EX Cancels, as well as killer cinematic Ultra Specials.  But aside from the new game mechanics the game also brings in the long awaited Online Multiplayer where the best players around the world could face each other.  Well that’s Street Fighter 4 in a nutshell.

Guess Sagat's still mad at that scar.

Despite the overall awesomeness of this game there are annoying aspects of it that I hate. For example in online play there are definitely some bitchy characters to fight against. I honestly have troubles fighting either Zangief (Damn Russian grabber) Chun-Li (Bitchy Long Legs) Bison (Mr. I do frontflips all day). Now I’m not trying to be a douche who complains about losing to these guys because I know there are some awesome players but I honestly hate fighting certain characters because they’re so damn hard to beat.  I pretty certain there are some characters we all hate fighting against. (cough Seth)
