BlazBlue Review
I’ve been talking a lot
about street fighter lately so I decided to change it up a bit.
LISTEN AND YOUR WELCOME
I also love how
talented the voice acting is in this game. Let me tell you I've been an old
school gamer since I was in kindergarten and I've seen my share of bad
voice-acting in the day. (Play Megaman X4 and X7 if you don’t believe me)
DEFINTELY NOT GOOD VOICE ACTING
But
the BlazBlue series definitely delivers. Patrick Seitz really makes Ragna come
alive (I couldn't stop get "Carnage Scissors out of my head for a week), and as a competitive game player nothings sound more beautiful than
hearing voice acting in a heated online match which brings me to my next topic.
The gameplay is also worth mentioning. Almost every character has such unique
combos and specials that make me want to shed a tear. Each character also has an
“Instant Kill” attack that has beautiful graphic animations. And if you’re into
improving your BlazBlue skills characters also have a plethora of combos to
learn making competitive play fun and worthwhile. But aside from the high aspects of the game I
did notice some small negatives too the small selection of characters; a total
of 19 to be more specific.
I know many people will argue that that's a fair amount
but I'm a man who loves options. There’s also that annoying overbalance of
females than males in the game, which is great if you're in that stuff, but
that kind of irks me. Seriously check out the next BlazBlue game coming out. (Chrono
Phantasma for those of you who don’t know) Almost all the new characters are
females or androgynous. Aside from that,
BlazBlue comes out on top as a true fighting game. With a great storyline, dedicated voice
acting and beautiful adrenaline pumping music, BlazBlue is a game I recommend
buying.
I also reccommend checking out Chrono Phantasma hopefully coming out soon.
Check out more gaming posts from me Gray later on in the future.
