Now let me first say I always liked Kyo. He's kinda of a cross between the appearance of Ryu with the fiery flashy fighting style of Ken; emphasis on fiery.  As the main protagonist of the King of Fighters series, Kyo earns his spot in the Top 10 Badass fighing games characters

 

 

 

9.)                           Marvel vs Capcom

Strider Hiryu

 

 

The only silent ninja I know who rocks purple and red so well. Strider Hiryu is definitely my favorite fighting ninja. Fans of the MvC genre can definitely you how badass this ninja can get. With the title of fastest character in the game along with deadly combos that could end that match within 10 seconds Strider Hiryu is definitely a forced to be reckoned with.



 

 

   8.)                      Super Street Fighter 4

                                  Cody Travers

 

 

At Number 8 we have Cody Travers from the Super Street Fighter 4. (originally Final Fight) Man, there are so many things awesome about this character. The fact that he fights with handcuffs alone as a handicap should be enough convince anyone. But what I love about Cody is the fact he is actually the only real Street Fighter in the Street Fighter series. Using anything he finds on the streets as a weapon, (i.e. knifes, wrenches and rocks that can dispel hadokens) Cody is no doubt a symbol of Badassness.

 

7.)                                           Rival Schools

For Number 7 I chose Batsu from one the Rival Schools series. Let me start off by saying at first glance appears to be is another one of those Ryu lookalikes, but despite having to live in the shadow of Ryu ,Batsu stands out as a more fiercer and hot-headed fighter. Being an original fan of Rival Schools myself I can honestly say I had a lot of fun using Batsu as well as his more serious version Burning Batsu.

 

6.)                                     Super Street Fighter 4

Can't have a Top 10 Badass List without my girl Juri.  This sadistic femme fettale was one of the reasons I decided to even buy Street Fighter 4 in first place. A sexy dangerous and cold hearted women who fights for the sheer thrill of the battle, Juri is probably the only female I acknowledge as badass in the Street Fighter or any Fighting game genre. (no offense to you Chun Li lovers)

 

 

5.)                                       Tekken

                                     Jin Kazama

 

                                              

  I had so much debate for over choosing Jin or Kazuya for this spot, but in the end it was Jin all they way.  The only fighter who brings as mix of swag, skills, and obviously badassness to the table.  With amazing fighting skills that rival even Ryu (Check Street Fighter X Tekken) as well as being the first fighter in gaming history to actually have a great sense of style Jin definitely makes his mark in fighting game history.

 

4.)                                   BlazBlue

At Number 4, my man Ragna from the BlazBlue saga. This rushdown heavy blade wielding vampire is one of the best fighting game characters I've seen around. If you dont believe me check out any videos of him on YouTube.  I simply can't get enough of watching him kick ass in a online fight, even if it's my ass getting kick. 

 

 3.)                       X-Men vs Street Fighter

Boy I am running out of words. As we hit the Final Top 3   Anyone with a decent childhood should automatically know this guy. A mutant enhanced by the procedures of the Weapon X  project. Wolverine is the very defnition of badass himself. And since its getting late i'm gonna make this short and sweet. Wolverine's a beast. He's fast as hell, his blades can slice through almost anything and he's technically the only mutant to ever beat the devil (Read X-Men comics for more info)  Finally he was added onto the X-Men vs Street Fighter genre as well as in Marvel vs Capcom, giving me the power to put him in my Top 3 spot. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.)                    Marvel Superheros Vs. Street Fighters

                                     Cyber Akuma

 

                                            

As we draw near the end, I couldn't be happier with this choice. For those of you who don't know Cyber Akuma is the last boss of the Marvel Superheros vs Street Fighter game.  Being infused my Apocolypse's cybernetic material. Cyber Akuma becomes the strongest boss you'll ever face. (It took me about 55 tries to beat him) With spilt second instant kill Raging Demon, Cyber Akuma lands himself in the Top 2 spots left.

 

 

 

2.)                          Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition

And last but not least we reach Evil Ryu. After being consumed by the Satsui no Hado Ryu hits this dark transformation and let me tell you he couldn't be anymore awesomer if he tried.  The whole dark gi and and red eyes is a real cool look for. I chose E Ryu as Number 1 because I love the whole of a dark transformation on a regularly good character. With his newfound power Ryu becoms an bloodthirsty monster who only thinks about victory and winning at any cost.
